I missed my photojournalism interview today. To justify my absence, I got barely any sleep last night, so I decided to take a quick nap before the interview. And then… 1) I woke up 20 minutes prior to the appointment (wasn’t my alarm set for 3:30 p.m.?) 2) I took the wrong metro 3) after deciding to walk to another metro to try again, I landed in the opposite direction, back towards the apartment. I could have tried to get there anyway after the mess, but I’m not positive when businesses in Spain close (I saw kids just getting out of school around 5 p.m.) and by the time I got coordinated it was an hour and a half past the appointment time. What can I say, it’s my first time in a big city relying on a subway. I had no idea it could get this dramatic.
