This book makes me want to hike. There is something primitively satisfying about climbing up rocks and pushing yourself up mountains- just to do it. I really think humans were made to be mobile and it's shame we don't roam/walk/explore around more often. (exception: mr. lewandowski)
A while back I wrote a paper for my archaeology class about the anatomy vs. diet of humans and I basically came to the startling conclusion that our bodies are made for movement. haha. I guess it's not a big surprise, but it's something to think more about.
I am going to Pittsburgh to eat crêpes with my nearly french friend and her sister, then I'm off to meet up with another French-language-loving-friend to see a girly movie (I'm hoping "He's just not that into you" because "Confessions of a shopaholic" looks just as dumb, but it doesn't have Scarlet Johanson- who we all secretly want to befriend as our best friend). au revoir!
