I just don't understand when aid workers are killed. Nobody wins. It scares me because I would like to one day run off and help firsthand...but I don't want to die like that. I don't want to commit to something where I can't have a husband or a family.

Slain IAM aid worker Brian Carderelli arrived in Afghanistan last September and "fell in love" with the people he met there. He was a recent college graduate and a free-lance videographer from Virginia. Here's a video of his:
