wee-kend
friday, i went to te cafe and brushed up on my spanish with a new amigo and a vanilla chai. afterwards, i headed over to game night at lindsday/rachel's. we played a round of bs and i met a lot of people. i got frustrated from being bruised up and decidedly went home to lay in bed while listening to biggie.
saturday, lindsay and i hung out with our books at the crazy mocha in bloomfield. she came over for a late lunch and to test her personality. sometime later jake and i ate dinner with friends and then more friends streamed into the apartment.
sunday, jake and i waddled down to cococafe for brunch where we met a boy resembling jude law. i picked up my older brother afterwards and we spent the day shopping for household items. once we unloaded, we took fluffy for a walk around south oakland and then went to a bbq/volleyball party.
monday, i brought my over-ripened frozen bananas and other ingredients to amanda's and we made banana bread. i spent the afternoon on her couch dozing in and out of naps while reading. i found joyce at kiva han later and we agreed that we both needed rain boots.

week one was neat. weekend one was just as neat. i am just now realizing how horrible i am with time commitments. sorry everyone! i am trying not to plan activities in my schedule that i can't promise to follow through with. i guess i'm not used to having so many people around me again. i am really glad that i get to experience this year by living with a good friend. i have many opportunities ahead of me to live alone.
