J'adore Au Revoir Simone (not a French band, actually American). They make me want to create a three person chick band and hang out with my band mates while reading books.

Recently, I've been thinking about how I should go back to Paris to live there for longer than a month. I didn't get to find Café de Flore or ride a vélo around the city. I feel obliged to return since I was so preoccupied last summer with classes and my dad's departure and I kept telling everyone how much easier it was to adjust to Paris than Madrid. Paris, with its fifth Beatle hanging out singing in the subway tunnels and its desirable bakeries and its leisure oriented life-style- appears to be a place where I need to live.


Katie and I are doing a photoshoot tomorrow, attempting to create something as playful as this. I think we're going to the carousel. Too bad I won't be able to float away with balloons and the Eiffel Tower in the background (maybe the Cathedral of Learning).
