I met up with Dave (university friend) after my internship and we went to get bocadillos (little sandwiches) at this restaurant where you choose what type you want. I typically order the pollo (chicken) with the brava sauce and the Spanish tortilla (eggs mixed with potatoes), mmm…and I top it off with a nice clara cerveza (light beer). During our meal we met a local DJ originally from the US. He was nice enough to invite us over to his pad later in the evening – which we did, after Lauren showed up to join us as well. [bocadillos!]
So I think two students from my internship have left to go back to photography classes at the university. This means that I get handle to more editing for the photos to be posted on the website. I am surprised about how much I can manage on my own. My cooking skills are improving; my foreign awkwardness is declining; If I can do this, any person is capable of anything. There you have it.
